About
Render Broadcast Video in Minutes, Not Weeks
Northvex helps Canadian marketing and creative teams produce broadcast-quality video in minutes, not weeks—without hiring agencies or learning complex software.
In early 2024, our founder ran growth for a Vancouver SaaS company burning $18K/month on freelance video editors. Timelines slipped, revisions dragged. After prototyping a GPT-4 storyboard pipeline and custom render farm, the tool cut production time from 12 days to 90 minutes. Six BC startups asked for access. We incorporated in August 2024 and opened our Toronto data centre to meet PIPEDA requirements for enterprise clients.
We don't use off-the-shelf AI APIs. Our core engine combines GPT-4 for script analysis, Stable Diffusion for scene synthesis, and a custom motion-graphics renderer built on FFmpeg and OpenCV. Every model is fine-tuned on Canadian English and French datasets. Our Toronto GPU cluster (12 NVIDIA A100 nodes) guarantees sub-50ms latency for Western and Central Canada, and all data stays on Canadian soil—critical for clients in finance, healthcare, and government.
Our path
- Aug 2024Northvex incorporated; first 12 beta customers onboarded in Vancouver
- Dec 2024Toronto data centre launched with PIPEDA-compliant infrastructure
- May 2025Reached 100 active clients; launched French language support
- Jun 2026SOC 2 Type II certification achieved; enterprise API released
What we stand for
Fast render times don't mean sloppy output. Our engine delivers both—3-minute renders at broadcast quality. Every release benchmarked against manual timelines.
Your scripts, voice samples, and brand assets stay in Canada. No US cloud services, no cross-border transfers. PIPEDA compliance is our infrastructure default.
Every plan shows exact render limits, resolution caps, and feature access. No surprise overages. Unused renders roll over for 90 days, not vanish at month-end.
Collaboration tools—comments, approvals, version history—are standard, not enterprise add-ons. Northvex is built for cross-functional teams who move fast.
I started Northvex after waiting two weeks for a 60-second explainer video. Every marketing team had the same bottleneck—great ideas, slow execution. We built the platform I wish I'd had: fast, local, transparent. Shipping video in Canada should be absurdly easy.
